Lilly's First Birthday--October 8

We celebrated Lilly's first birthday with a super-fun party on Saturday the 8th. Thanks to all the amazing friends and family who joined us in celebrating our beautiful daughter!

Cake Balls (amazing), lemonade, cupcakes, and dirt cups (chocolate pudding and oreos)

"What's this?" Wrapping paper is every bit as exciting as gifts!

Love Lilly's excited expression in this one

Uncle Brady giving Lilly her first tutorial on Star Wars (he gave her a Star Wars set)

Loves to snuggle her dollies--thanks Cousin Emma and Aunt Teresa for the new one!

Sporting the BSU coat (also from Uncle Brady)--don't tell any of my fellow Vandals!

Lilly is 1--October 5th

This little cutie-pie turned one on October 5th! I can't believe it! She started walking the day before her first birthday and hasn't slowed down since! We are so thankful for the first year of her sweet little life and look forward to so many more! Love you Lilly!

Rodeo--September 3

Along with the fair comes the rodeo! Lilly's first rodeo and Jake didn't get to go because of work. She was not too impressed, though, and spent most of her time tearing off her cowgirl hat, kicking off her cowgirl boots, eating, and sleeping. But Jackson and Kolton had fun!

Sweetest picture ever!

Soooo cute!

County Fair--September 1

Time for the Twin Falls County Fair again! Jackson and his little buddy, Kolton, went on rides together (thanks, Nana and Kolton's Nana for taking them while Mommies and Daddies were working!). Luckily, I was able to catch up with the little monsters for a lot of their riding, and let me tell you, Jackson is a little daredevil when it comes to rides (just like his momma!). Lilly enjoyed the animals and the food ;-)

Roller Coaster!

Loved the animals!

Snow cones after rides!

Couer d' Alene--August 23-26

Wow, it has been way too long since I've updated! That's what happens around September when you are a teacher!

Since it's been so long, and I wasn't exactly publishing all information until decisions had been made, Jake and I had an opportunity to relocate to Northern Idaho (the Couer d' Alene area) for his job. After much prayer, we decided to go, so we headed to CDA for a quick trip to peruse neighborhoods and schools. After spending time talking with locals and checking out the "feeling" of surrounding towns and neighborhoods, we ended up having some hesitations. So, back to our knees for lots of prayer! We ended up deciding to stay here, and Jake was offered another job doing similar work with kids.

Here are some pics of our trip (just the two of us, so that was nice, and my awesome cousin, Megan, hosted us, so thank you Megan, we had a blast visiting you!):
