Blessings!

Jackson and my dad had such a cute conversation Friday, I wanted to journal it for my own purposes. Dad was out watching Jackson ride his tricycle and was like, "Jackson, how many wheels does a tricycle have?" and Jackson counted them and said, "Three" and so Dad said, "Yeah and tri means three. How many wheels does a bicycle have?" Jackson was like, "One, two...six, seven, eight, nine!" and Dad said, "Well a bike has 2 wheels and bi means two. Did you know they make things called unicycles? How many wheels do you think a unicycle has?" and Jackson said, with all the confidence in the world, "Just one!". What a smarty!

Then today, I made him a new batch of homemade playdough and he was playing with it and made this huge bumpy pile of it and goes, "Mom, I made a cumulonimbo!" and I said "You did?" and he said, "Yeah, it's a storm cloud." Wow...

Today was such a great Saturday. It was the first time in a long time we had a truly relaxing and non-busy Saturday. I had a crap-ton of laundry to do, but other than that just hung out with Jake and the kiddos all morning, then after lunch I decided to make Jackson a new batch of playdough and he was so interested in that (mostly because I hadn't made him any in such a long time) that he played with it for almost 2 hours! I played with him off and on and played with Lilly and just had such a restful day. And I just thought so much today about how God has truly gifted us with the two most wonderful and adorable children. They are truly such blessings! They both have such good temperaments and such fun and happy personalities. Jake and I both talk about this all the time, but our kids are such gifts to us and we literally thank God every day for them. Just a shout out of praise!
