We started out by walking over to the Hollister Community breakfast, which was delicious and fun! Then we headed to the Buhl Sagebrush Days Parade. Jackson's favorites were the fire trucks (because they were red, his favorite color) and Lilly's favorite was the pineapple popsicle she enjoyed (her first).
Grandpa Rick feeding Lilly her first popsicle (she looooved it!)
Jackson insisted on us taking this picture of him with his sister--as you can tell, Lilly was not as thrilled with the idea!

Later, we headed over to CSI for a barbeque and fireworks. We played a little volleyball, tossed around the frisbee, relaxed and had a great time. Lilly pretty much slept through her first fireworks (she was awake right at the beginning) and Jackson halfway watched/halfway played with his friends throughout.Jackson insisted on us taking this picture of him with his sister--as you can tell, Lilly was not as thrilled with the idea!

Happy Independence Day! We are so thankful for so many blessings--family, freedom and the love of an amazing God!
(By the way--Donnelly, my mother-in-law, took waaaay better pics for the most part, so some of you may have a chance to see her's hopefully!)
