We sure had a busy Halloween this year! The good thing was that the kids got to wear their adorable costumes multiple times, which was nice since my mom had put so much work and creativity into them! Jackson chose his own costume this year (he's been really into pirates lately, obviously) and my friend, Keshia , had the great idea to have Lilly be his parrot! My mom put her creative genius to work and ended up designing Lilly's costume from a combination of other patterns, since there was no parrot. I'm pretty sure if we had had time, that parrot would have won some contests!
Round 1 of Halloween included trick-or-treating all the family in the area with a stop at my parent's for a yummy Harvest Dinner.
Round 2 was spent in Boise at Boo at the Zoo and we were joined by my Aunt Teresa and cousin Emma. It was super-crowded, but the kids all had a blast riding the carousel and playing at the little park they have there. We had such a relaxing and fabulous visit with Aunt Teresa and Emma (it had been a loooong time since we had had such a relaxing weekend!). We also got to hang out with Jake's Uncle Steve, Aunt Amy, and their super-cute kids on Sunday. Halloween weekend also afforded Jackson the opportunity to jump on the "tramp-ween" at both Emma's house and his other cousins'. He's a natural, and within minutes had figured out lots of tricks, including flips! Yikes!
