Our summer was full of:
Riding bikes:
Preschool activities and projects:
Yummy garden vegetables, berries from Nana's berry patches, and local melon:
Fun with friends and neighbors:
Swimming, swimming, and more swimming (we had a pass to the hot springs pool nearby):
Lots of board games and time building trains, building things with Legos, and make-believe play:
Many, many dinners outside, enjoying the peaceful summer evenings:
Lots of s'mores over the firepots:
Lots of messes and playing in the sand and dirt:
The drive-in movies:
Random moments of craziness and cuteness:
Lots of fishing with dad (and even some crawdad catching--poor things dried up while we were out of town, yikes!)
Tons of bike rides to the park at the school:
Gardening, picking berries, picking berries, picking berries, figuring out how all to use the berries, freezing berries....
And a couple of exhausted kids every day!
